- Cote de Beaune
- Beaune
- Beaune First class
We count all in all first 32 Vintage wines, each of them corresponding to a visible different plot of land above.
Our Domain produces first 7 different Vintage wines some of the others which are:
- Beaune 1er Cru à l'Ecu
- Beaune 1er Cru les Toussaints
- Beaune 1er Cru les Cent Vignes
- Beaune 1er Cru les Theurons
- Beaune 1er Cru les Clos du Roi
- Beaune 1er Cru les Grèves
- Beaune 1er Cru les Bressandes
The vineyard of Beaune strechers over a large band (of 1000 to 2000) on the gentle slopes (230 to 300 meters high) of the Easten side of two groups of hills which make the chain of the Côte d’Or (Golden Coast)between Savigny in the North and Pommard in the South. Added to its location, its latitude makes it one of the most early-ripening Vineyard of the area.
The soils, which are composed of brown limestone irregularly mixed with clay and sand, have an influence on the variety of the terroirs. One finds a range of wines going from supple and fine wines to firm and structured wines with a good ageing potential. However the vintage and the winemaking style also bring differences.
